SUMMER SESSIONS

I finally had a summer vacation, but I didn’t want to just rot away, doing nothing. So I decided to adopt a challenge that a colleague of mine has done - a song a week. They did a song a day, but I wanted some flexibility, in case something comes up. It came in handy with managing days off when I needed them.

Some of them are covers that I’ve been wanting to do for the past while. The original plan was to only do covers, but I changed it so that I would have some originals that have been sitting in my idea pool be realized.

The Doctor Who theme wasn’t commissioned by anyone, but as I am the composer of Not BBC Productions, the original version I made in 2025 didn’t quite satisfy me. This version was what I envisioned, and as the team liked it, I ended up making that the theme for Series 2… Coming soon.

“MS VICTORIA” is originally in Japanese, and the lyrics sang are based on the official English translation the game provides in the concert theatre. Some creative liberties were taken, to fit my own singing style. Did you know that the translated lyrics are supposed to fit the melodies?
